myworld - OFFICIAL SHORT FILM
I wrote, produced and directed my first Sci-Fi Thriller, entitled 'MyWorld'. This 15 minute short film follows Gaia Silic, a social media influencer, on her quest to solve her friend's suicide. In a world ruled by social media, you can be whatever you want to be, but when the CEO of a multi-billion dollar crypto-currency and social media site is linked to the suspected homicide of one of his biggest users, Gaia and her friends find themselves in a difficult position.
The short film was a Semi-Finalist for Best First Time Director and my acting role of Gaia Silic was nominated as a Semi-Finalist for Best Actress at the 2020 Indie X Film Fest.

My short film, "MyWorld", was a double Finalist at the 2020 Independent Shorts Awards, for Best First Time Director and for Best Actress. This Certificate of Achievement commemorates my directorial debut in the Comedy genre.
My short film, "MyWorld", was officially selected by the Atlanta Film Society Presents Locals Only and it premiered at the Plaza Theatre on July 15th 2020, in Atlanta, Georgia. The 15 minute Sci-Fi Thriller was well received by the festival attendees and it premiered locally for the first time that day.
My short film, "MyWorld", was officially selected by the 2020 Indie Short Fest for Best Drama Short and Best First Time Director. The double selection was quite incredible as it commemorated my directorial debut in Film
WE'RE MAKING A MOVIE - (episode 1)
I wrote, directed and acted in 'We're Making A Movie' (Episode 1), which is the adaptation of my web series' Pilot Script. The 22-minute Pilot Episode adapted from my Dark Comedy Series was a Finalist for Best Dark Comedy at the 2020 Independent Shorts Awards.

The screenplay of the second episode from my comedy web-series, 'We're Making A Movie', is officially selected for Best Comedy Script by the 2020 Austin Revolution Film Festival. We're so excited to attend the upcoming festival in March 2021, especially since our Pilot Script won the 2019 Director's Choice Award at the Festival.

SCREENPLAY AWARDS
The screenplay for my comedy web-series, entitled 'We're Making A Movie', won the Director's Choice Screenplay at the 2019 Austin Revolution Film Festival. The 33-paged TV pilot was well liked by the judges and was conceived with the help of my fellow writers, Zoya Qazi, Buck Alford and Ryan Ferguson.
